She was born and educated in New Zealand and then moved to England where she worked as a press o cer for the charity Save the Children and in the Science Museum Library, London. She then joined a major British publishing company where she specialized in books on art, antiques, lm and the stage. Married to a fellow writer and artist she lives in the picturesque ames Valley town of Marlow in England.
