Wins Three-Point Shooting Contest at 2018 All-Star Weekend

To stake a claim as one of the league’s greatest shooters, players must step up under the bright lights of the NBA’s annual Three-Point Shooting Contest and deliver on the court during All-Star Weekend. That’s exactly what Devin Booker did during the 2018 extravaganza at The Staples Center in Los Angeles. Competing against a fantastic field that featured the champions of the past three events (Eric Gordon, Klay Thompson, and Steph Curry) along with other sharpshooters, the Suns’ guard posted the greatest final-round score (28) in the contest’s history. During that breathtaking final round, he went on a run to remember, sinking 20 of 25 shots to stamp an exclamation point on a night of exquisite shooting. Booker became the second Phoenix player ever to win the event, joining Quentin Richardson, who shot his way to the title in 2005 in Denver. The first Three-Point Shooting Contest was held in 1986 and won by Boston great Larry Bird.

Devin Booker won the Three-Point Shooting Contest at the 2018 All-Star Game at The Staples Center in Los Angeles with a final round record-breaking run.
