He put up prodigious stats in several categories including most three-point shots made (286) and attempted (646), highest free throw percentage (91.4 percent), and most steals (163). His numbers helped lead the Warriors to a 67–15 win-loss record and their first NBA championship since 1975. His efforts that season also led to his being named the league’s Most Valuable Player.
