First Regular Season NFL Sack Donald is developing a reputation as one of the most fearsome sack masters in the NFL. He has already recorded 59.5 sacks in his five-year career. Donald ranks fourth all-time in NFL history for most sacks in a player’s first five seasons, behind Derrick Thomas (third), J.J. Watt (second), and Reggie White (first). He got his first NFL sack in his second game as a pro, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 14, 2014. He also recorded three solo tackles, each for negative yards, in helping the Rams defeat the Buccaneers by the score of 19 – 17.
In his second game as a professional football player, September 14, 2014, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Donald recorded his first career sack on a second quarter, third down play that forced the Buccaneers to punt.
