By setting a positive example, a leader encourages others to take action, work together toward a common goal, and challenge themselves to learn and grow. But this same ability to inspire others is exactly what helps a good leader inspire himself or herself as well.

In other words: Good leaders don’t just make their team better: they make themselves better, too.
