ABOU T THE AU THOR Irene Korn is the author of eight non- ction books and hundreds of magazine articles on travel and culture that have appeared in nationwide publications. Her interest in art, religion, and culture is longstanding, and she has travelled extensively, studying both contemporary art and culture as well as the historical evolution of many dierent societies. A former magazine editor, Ms. Korn devotes her time to writing and lecturing in New York City, where she resides.
