The winners of the FIFA World Cup association football tournament are awarded this trophy. There have been two trophies used since the first World Cup in 1930. the 1974 World Cup, the FIFA World Cup Trophy, as seen here, has been the reward. This trophy is made of 18-karat gold with a malachite base. It weighs more than 13 pounds (6 kg) and stands just over 14 inches (35 cm) high. The FIFA World Cup Trophy shows two people holding up the Earth.
