Tracy’s birth was a dream come true for her parents. She was a happy baby, and everything seemed normal at first. But soon after Tracy turned one, her mom started to notice that Tracy was different from other kids her age. Other babies were cuddly, giving kisses and hugs to their moms. They were constantly exploring—crawling, touching things, and putting things in their mouths. They even tried to talk. Even if it was mostly babble, they were trying to communicate.
