Building a strong support network helps anyone with problems, whether professional or personal, and gives an advantage to those who can get advice or feedback or motivation from an outside source. It’s worth noting that the benefits aren’t one-way, either: persons who function as the mentor, coach, trainer, or teacher develop deeper skills and knowledge than they would without their relationship.
